Hey, i know it's kinda late (being Sat. and all) but on Thursday i went to go see the fireworks and that was the shiznit. We went on my Uncle's (Dad's best friend, more like longtime friend of family)'s nice ass boat. There were like 12 ppl on the boat and it wasn't that crowded. We went driving around lake Michigan the whole day before it got dark. At first it was all the girls sitting up front with the wind in our hair and then they went inside and then it was just me and my bro. We were waving at every boat that passed by and I was cracking up because my bro was dancing and doing the robot for everyone that passed by. More proof it's a small world, i saw Raven; this girl I know from the Indian center (fellow native). I was waving and then she waved back and we both did a double take ("Kitty? "Raven?"). yeah, so then we tied up in the harbor and got some good seats to see the fireworks. They lasted only like a half hour but they were so cool. I think they said there was supposed to be like 1.1 million people there watching. Thank God we were in the water because it was PACKED with ppl on the shore. And then after the show, we cranked up the radio and danced until the traffic cleared out. And then it was so late and everybody was so drunk that we almost got lost trying to find our way back to our dock. My dad still didn't want to leave so we left him there to spend the night on the boat with his bud and pick him up in the morning. Right now, I got out of going to see the Wild Thornberry's meet the Rugrats movie or whatever it's called with my bro and his 5 yr old cousin. I really didn't want to see it so instead I shopped for a bathing suit for my trip to Florida. (I leave on Monday). Anyway, we're about to catch up with them and have a barbeque and maybe go swimming or something. (they have a pool) so it'll be a chance to try out my bathing suit. whoo-hoo!............Peace
